  • 5/4/2016. Dr. Jin is selected for the Early CAREER Award of the Department of Energy (DoE).

  • 4/25/2016. Two of the SSL members, Mr. Dean Sullivan and Mr. Orlando arias, were awarded the A. Richard Newton Young Students of the Design Automation Conference, 2016.

  • 4/5/2016. Two of the SSL members, Mr. Kelvin Ly and Mr. Orlando Arias, were selected as recipients of the University of Central Florida’s ORC Doctoral Fellowship.

  • 3/29/2016. One of the SSL members, Mr. Orlando Arias, was awarded the 2016 National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program(GRFP) Fellowship.

  • 3/2/2016. Dr. Jin is invited to serve as the Associate Editor of the IET journal on Computers & Digital Techniques.

  • 2/24/2016. Dr. Jin is invited to attend the Workshop US-Brazil on Cyber Security and Privacy. The workshop is a direct outcome of the recent visit paid by the President of Brazil Mrs. Dilma Rousseff to the United States.

  • 1/25/2016. Our paper title "Netlist Reverse Engineering for High-Level Functionality Reconstruction" is selected for the Asia and South Pacific Design Automation Conference (ASP-DAC 2016) Best Paper Award. (Photo)

  • 12/4/2015. An NSF REU site titled "REU Site: Research Experiences in the Internet of Things" is granted by NSF. This new site will focus on IoT development and security assessment for undergraduate students nationwide.

  • 11/14/2015. Our undergraduate team "KnightSec2" won the Second Place Award in the NYU-Poly CSAW Embedded System Challenges. (We are the Second Place Winner in 2013, 2014, and 2015 in a row).

  • 10/29/2015. Our undergraduate team "KnightSec" won the Second Place Award in the UConn's CyberSEED IoT Challenge.
